Bio: Juan Bigliar was born in the Kartchner Caverns when cavers shortly after, Gary Tenen and Randy Tufts, found a narrow crack in the bottom of a sinkhole and found him. His parents (Mr. and Mrs. Bigliar) are from southern Senegal across the forested belt north of the Congo River in Africa.
Gary and Randy hid Juan and his parents from the public eye for many years. Randy who was a geologist, lunar and planetary scientist for NASA was worried the little one would be raised in a cage.
Finally, Juan realized that he needed to face a huge and painful void in his life. The opportunity came as a friend of Gary invited Juan to begin speaking to others in a classroom setting.
He wore regular clothes like the other kids and no one said anything as he began traditional American school. It was reported, the other children thought he looked different due to an accident. He just continued on at school like every other student.
Today Juan seeks out others like himself. They all seem to be from the same hidden Valley in Africa and all came to the US at the end of the last Millenium.
